Using the PipeBandHQ app
Get your band's events, rehearsals, music and notices on your phone, and pay for bookings on the go.
The app and the website work together
The app uses the same account as the website. Everything you do in one appears in the other.
Sign in with your existing account
Use the same email address and password you use on the website.
Step 1
Install the app
Download PipeBandHQ from the App Store or Google Play and sign in.
Step 2
Allow notifications
When asked, allow notifications so you hear about new events, rehearsal changes and announcements.
Step 3
Choose your band
If you belong to more than one band or organisation, choose which one you are viewing. You can switch at any time.
Step 4
Pull down to refresh
On most screens, pull down from the top to load the latest information.
What you can do in the app
Calendar
See events and rehearsals and reply to say whether you are attending.
Music
Open your band's tunes and documents, including audio.
Noticeboard
Read announcements and join the conversation in comments.
Bookings
Book and pay for events and bus seats.
Administrators
Manage members and membership requests, record cash and bank transfer payments for events and the Band Bus, view finance and set up Stripe payments.
Accessibility
The app works with VoiceOver and TalkBack screen readers.
Things done on the website
Some tasks are only on the website, including marking payments as refunded, cancelling a booking for a member and managing your PipeBandHQ subscription.
