Paying for events and the Band Bus
How to book and pay for events, trips and bus seats, and what happens after you pay.
Paying your band
If your band takes online payments, you can pay by card on the website or in the PipeBandHQ app. Your payment goes to your band, and your booking updates automatically.
Your card details are safe
Card payments are handled by Stripe, a secure payment provider. PipeBandHQ and your band never see your full card number.
Step 1
Open the event
Find the event on the website or in the app and open it.
Step 2
Book your place
Choose what you are booking, such as the trip, hotel or a bus seat and pickup point.
Step 3
Pay
Choose to pay and enter your card details on the secure Stripe page. If your band allows it, you can pay part now and the rest later.
Step 4
Check your booking
You will return to the event. Your booking can take a few seconds to show as paid while the payment is confirmed. Pull down in the app to refresh.
Common questions
Do I pay a card fee?
No. You pay the price your band has set. Any card fee is paid by the band.
Can I pay in cash?
Yes, if your band accepts it. Pay the band directly and they will mark your booking as paid.
How do I get a refund?
Ask your band. Refunds are made by the band directly, usually by bank transfer.
My payment has not shown up
Wait a minute and refresh. If it still shows unpaid, contact your band with the date and amount.
