Getting started with PipeBandHQ

This guide explains how to create your account, join your organisation and start using PipeBandHQ.

Before you begin

PipeBandHQ uses personal accounts connected to organisations and bands. Your personal account stays with you, while access to individual organisations depends on your membership of those organisations.

Good to know

If you leave one band and join another, you do not need to create a new PipeBandHQ account.

Step 1

Create your PipeBandHQ account

Start by creating your personal PipeBandHQ account. Your account belongs to you, so you can use it even if you later join a different band or organisation.

Step 2

Sign in

Once your account has been created, sign in using your email address and password.

Step 3

Join your band or organisation

Request access to the organisation you belong to. Once approved, your band will appear inside your PipeBandHQ account.

Step 4

Start using PipeBandHQ

Once your membership has been approved, you can access the areas your organisation has made available to you.

What can I access?

What you can see and manage depends on your role and the permissions given to you by your organisation.

Band members

Members may be able to view notices, events, rehearsals, attendance, music and documents.

Committee & administrators

Committee members can be given additional permissions to manage specific areas of the organisation.
