How to join a band

This guide explains how to find your organisation, request membership and gain access to your band on PipeBandHQ.

Before you request access

Your PipeBandHQ account is personal to you. You can use the same account to join more than one organisation if required.

You do not need a new account for each band

If you move to another band, you can request access to the new organisation using your existing account.

Step 1

Sign in to PipeBandHQ

Use your existing PipeBandHQ account to sign in. If you do not have an account yet, create one first.

Step 2

Find your organisation

Search for the band or organisation you want to join. Make sure you select the correct organisation before continuing.

Step 3

Send a membership request

Submit your request to join the organisation. Your request will be sent to the organisation administrators for approval.

Step 4

Wait for approval

Once an administrator approves your request, the organisation will become available inside your PipeBandHQ account.

What happens after I send my request?

Your request will remain pending until an organisation administrator reviews it.

While your request is pending

You will not yet have access to the organisation's private areas, music, documents or member information.

Once approved

The organisation will appear in your account and you can access the areas available to your membership.

Can I belong to more than one band?

Yes. If you are a member of more than one organisation, you can use the same PipeBandHQ account for each one. Each organisation manages its own membership and access.
